Progress Made

Ok, we made it to morning :) Elizabeth woke up around 10:45 p.m. and I gave her a bottle, put her back in bed and she cried. It killed me to see her so upset. The way she looked at me just went right to my heart. I went out to the hall and cried, and then went to Tom and cried. Elizabeth did well she cried and then fell asleep. She got up again at 3:03 a.m. and I let her cry it out, I went to her and soothed her and then sat in the rocking chair while she fussed. She finally fell back to sleep. I was so happy to see her this morning. Tom got her out of the crib and brought her to our bed, I was glad to see that she was not mad at me and that she was happy. I know I'm doing the right thing, and I keep telling myself that I'm doing this because I love her. Cassie, thank you for the pep talk this morning it sooo helped - you are going to be such an amazing Mom - luv you lots. Jessica, thank you for the kind words, you are so sweet and a WONDERFUL mother :) Jamie - you are super and your girls are so blessed.

Today was a great day. Mommy and Me class was wonderful as usual. Daria and I took the babies to the Boca mall and did a bit of Christmas shopping. We had lunch at Stir Crazy - loved it. I found a few presents so I only have a couple left to get. Daria is so nice, we had a really good day.

I kept Elizabeth up until 8:00 p.m. tonight. She did great. I had her at the dinner table with us so she can start to get the idea of what we do at dinner time. She played, then I gave her a bath, and then I swaddled her, put the music/animal pattern light on, kissed her goodnight and left the room. She layed there for a few minutes, said ahhhhh once, a minute later said ahhhhh again and then passed out. Yay Elizabeth!!!!! She is such a good girl. Please pray for me that she does the same if she wakes up later. If I'm lucky the hard part of this is over.
