Elizabeth is doing GREAT! I put her down to sleep at night and she only fusses for less than a minute and then goes to sleep. Yay. She got up once last night for a bottle and then went back to sleep on her own. Tom was up with her last night, and he did really well. I'm so glad he is on the same page with me. I've moved her bed time up and that has made a big difference in the time she gets up in the morning. I was reading in my book today that some babies will get up at night for a bottle until they are 9 months old, and that is perfectly normal and ok. The book also said if she does not go right back to sleep after the bottle, and wants to play then it becomes a problem. At that point we are to stop going to her at night and giving her a bottle. So far she is hungry, takes the bottle and goes back to bed. Tom said she fussed for half a minute last night and then passed out. God bless my little princess. I feel so much better now. The book has helped a lot b/c now I know it is ok to give her a bottle in the middle of the night, I was so confused about that issue. Below are some pictures that I took last night and tonight.
We were supposed to go to a reindeer birthday party tomorrow for a baby in our Mommy & Me class, but I feel so sick I think we are better off staying home so I don't get anyone sick. I'm sad we are going to miss the party.
