I'm Back

Step-Mother was here since Monday, I dropped her at the airport this afternoon to go home. I'm so glad she is gone, not in a bad way - we actually had a really great visit this time - I'm just happy I don't have to entertain anymore. I'm so tired, we ran around town since the day she got here and I'm just happy to have some me and Elizabeth time. I was getting up every morning rushing around to get dressed so I could go to the hotel and pick her up for breakfast, and then taking her back to the hotel at night after running non-stop all day............sooooooo tired! Anyway as I said we had a great visit. I'm not going to talk about or write about anything she did that got on my nerves (believe it or not there was not much). I want to try and have our relationship work this time, after all she is the only link Elizabeth has to my Dad.

Friday 12/2: We took Elizabeth to see Santa Claus. She loved him! Not one tear. I was so proud of her. She is such a good baby. It was so amazing to be taking her to see Santa, something I always dreamed of doing before I got pregnant. More dreams coming true - how very blessed I am. Saturday 12/3: We went and got our Christmas tree - yay!!!! I still need to decorate it, and I plan on doing that tonight and will finish tomorrow. The lights are on so we have been turning those on every night. Tom and I went out to Toys R Us to shop for Elizabeth (baby stayed home with Grammy & Papa). We had so much fun picking out toys for her. Tried not to go too crazy, but that was easier said than done. After Toys R Us we went out for a nice dinner (date night).




Sunday 12/4: My sister and I went to my Mom's house and helped her decorate her tree. Mom needed help getting the lights on and hanging ornaments up high (she is not getting around as well as before). The tree came out beautiful and Mom loves it. Out of everyone I know my Mom LOVES and ENJOYS her tree the most. Love you Mom.. thanks for being you. Here is a picture of Elizabeth passed out on Gram's floor.




Monday 12/5: Picked up Verna.....



Tuesday 12/6: Verna and I took Elizabeth to Babies R Us to have her Christmas pictures done. They came out sooooooo BEAUTIFUL!!!!!! She loved posing! We also went to Barnes and Noble and I bought Elizabeth her Christmas books. Had a really nice day. My sister and her husband came over for dinner and we all stayed up too late talking.

Wednesday 12/7: Verna tagged along to Mommy & Me. She really got a kick out of being there and watching Elizabeth. We took Christmas pictures with the babies in their holiday hats and cloths....soooo cute. After the class we met my sister at the mall and we did some Christmas shopping. I bought Tom a Nike watch and a Tommy Bahama hat. Had a nice time

Thursday 12/8: Took Verna to airport and I am now typing this.
